Your Day’s Timeline

Morning: The Bell Tower Experience

Start your day at The Bell Tower, Barrack St Jetty and enjoy the magnificent views from the observation deck over the picturesque Swan River and Elizabeth Quay. You will enjoy a behind-the-scenes view of the magnificent bell ringing chamber and might even have a go at ringing the bells yourself.

10:30 am: Your booked time for The Bell Tower tour.

Tip: Go early and enjoy the great views from the tower before your tour.

Late Morning: Open Top Bus

After your Bell Tower experience, jump on the bus just opposite at Stop 1. Enjoy the best sights of Perth and Kings Park on top of an iconic open-top double-decker bus. Listen to full commentary as experienced and professional drivers take you on a tour of our beautiful city and park.

11:15 am: Bus departs from Stop 1.

Midday: A Glimmer of Gold at The Perth Mint

Jump off at Stop 7 for The Perth Mint and take the Gold Exhibition tour. Your visit to this grand heritage building gives you the opportunity to get your hands on some real bullion, view some of the world’s largest gold nuggets and oldest gold coins, and witness the fiery liquid gold pour of an ingot.

12:30 pm: Your booked time for the Mint tour.

Afternoon: Kings Park

Get back on the bus at 1:55 pm after your Mint tour and continue your journey to Kings Park. Enjoy some free time to explore the Botanical Gardens and treetop walkway.

Finish

Your day will finish back in the city at either 4:00 pm or 4:45 pm, depending on how long you stay in the park.

Alternatively, stay on the bus for the full loop (do not get off in Kings Park) and finish your tour in the city at 3:00 pm.
